uabar and googlebar are missing from that page. But it's got a few I haven't seen before.

Thanks I've added the uabar. Where can I find the googlebar for Phoenix?

Wow, that was one buggy extension. :-\ I'll wait until it's supported on Phoenix.

You're missing mozengineer (http://joehewitt.com/mozilla/mozengineer/), but that's broken at the moment.

Yes. I will wait with the listing of extensions that clearly does not work. I monitor this forum every day, so I'll just add it when it's working.

googlebar 0.46 is known to fail some of the time on some computers. Try 0.45 .

googlebar faq page wrote:Someone told me that this works in Netscape and Phoenix. Does it?
The answer is both yes and no. The toolbar works best in most recent versions of mozilla, since this has been where development has occurred all along. Due to XUL changes in the mozilla versions following the release of Netscape 6.2, the Googlebar will not work at all in any release of Netscape 6.2.x or below. However, in Netscape 7, which is a close cousin of recent mozilla versions, the Googlebar works. It has also been tested to work in Phoenix 0.2 and above.

I did try both versions. 0.46 didn't work at all and 0.45 was the ugliest piece of software I've seen on Phoenix so far. Buttons totally misaligned and the hover effect totally out of place. Does anyone really use this in Phoenix?

Yes, frequently, just as I used the orig Google Toolbar with IE.

mozengineer only works when Phoenix has inspector.jar in it's chrome dir AFAIK
at least mozengineer works for my cvs builds
I don't think the nightlies have inspector.jar
