I'm also having this issue. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ is also failing for me. I've tried with all addons disabled and I've attempted reinstalling flash/java to no avail.

I just tested flash beta (18.0.0.95) and got the same results.

I think I've found the root of my issue. No matter what I try the "Mozilla family" check box on the Java Control Panel doesn't remain checked...

Correct, changing it to true doesn't help in my case though.
