http://java.com/en/download/installed8.jsp?detect=jre doesn't work for me and I know for a fact I have JRE 8u45 installed. Known bug?

I'm also having this issue. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ is also failing for me. I've tried with all addons disabled and I've attempted reinstalling flash/java to no avail.

I have e10s disabled, but apparently alex_mayorga has it enabled.

Hmm.. Flash test did work for me with e10s and without...
I have Flash beta eg 18.0.0.95 if that makes a difference... :-k

I think I've found the root of my issue. No matter what I try the "Mozilla family" check box on the Java Control Panel doesn't remain checked... ](*,)

I got massive painting problems especially the window controls and the background. Anyone else?

Edit: Seems to be the Windows Aero theme. Standard and Classic work.

Isn't Java disabled by default in Prefs > dom.ipc.plugins.java.enabled > false
