OK, I figured it out. Nightly crashes because of prioritized_input_events.enabled set to true. Set it back to false. Reported here:

Looks like it's also caused by Kaspersky. I reported it here - Mozilla Firefox Nightly 57.0a1 crashes in [@ mozilla::PrioritizedEventQueue<T>::EnablePrioritizationRunnable::Run ] with prioritized_input_events.enabled=true

Thank you, Virtual_ManPL! I can reproduce this crash with Kaspersky turned off.

What changed this setting? Mine is already set to false and says that is the default.

Oh, same here. Looks like I blamed Kaspersky too fastGHM113 wrote:Thank you, Virtual_ManPL! I can reproduce this crash with Kaspersky turned off.
It enables input event queue added in Bug 1351148 - Add an event queue to nsThread for input events and annotate input IPC messages to use itThe Tinsmith wrote:What changed this setting? Mine is already set to false and says that is the default.

I enabled it myself. The next setting I am gonna enable is dom.event.coalesce_mouse_move trueThe Tinsmith wrote:What changed this setting? Mine is already set to false and says that is the default.

That preference was enabled in A/B testing just like servo is enabled.
Any bug for the A/B testing.
Whats does dom.event.coalesce_mouse_move true do?
Any news on when
Bug 260611
leave bookmarks menu open when I middle click or ctrl click a bookmark
will land?
Firefox is non-usable for heavy bookmark users

You can read all about it on bug 1361067.shellye5 wrote:Whats does dom.event.coalesce_mouse_move true do?
TL;DT - It will coalesce mouse events when there's more than one per refresh driver tick, and only send the last one. It's something that I believe is to help performance - from reading the bug.
Edit Yipee for broken BBCode!
Cheers!

As far as I know, that pref hasn't been enabled yet due to shutdown hangs and performance regressions: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1390044shellye5 wrote:That preference was enabled in A/B testing just like servo is enabled
As sciguyryan said, this pref should increase performanceshellye5 wrote:Whats does dom.event.coalesce_mouse_move true do?

Legacy addons published on AMO can no longer be installed in Nightly. Is there an easy workaround?
@shellye5 Unfortunately, I don't know.
