sysKin wrote:Having lots of problems with this nightly. The URL bar stops working first (no autocomplete, no reaction to enter key) and networking stops across all windows. After a while, networking recovers but the address bar does not and the tab needs to be closed.

Anyone else, or is it just me? Had to use Chrome to even get to mozillazine :/

[edit] the networking failures seem to be per-domain, and I don't know for sure if they're related to url bar stopping to work

[edit2] address bar failures caused by FoxyGestures extension. networking failures caused by some other extension

Yeah, the "block" per domain seems to last for a minute or two.

My current conclusion is that uBlock Origin is triggering it. wait, it just happened without any extensions.

Also, found another problem, a video that is fullscreen impermanently displays "[domain] is now fullscreen" message. That one is random, and also happens without any extensions.
I've been having those exact same issues for days now, does anyone have them as well? I looked in bugzilla but couldn't find anything.
UI is extremely unresponsive at times.
I have to constantly restart firefox to be able to load some website and even crashes when shutting down now as well.

Tried Safe Mode?

RAM usage? FF can eat RAM (to up to 100% of physical RAM, which typically doesn't end up being a good thing).
(Load https://www.msn.com/, & simply start opening links into tabs. More & more... You will end up eating all your physical RAM.)

NoScript can cause Firefox stops loading pages until NoScript disabled or Firefox restarted.
Happens to some. A few. Well, at least to me ;-).

Might try changes in DoH.
Enable if disabled. Disable if enabled. Switch servers when enabled.
Fire 750, bring back 250.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.19) Gecko/20110420 SeaMonkey/2.0.14 Pinball CopyURL+ FetchTextURL FlashGot NoScript
