Indeed both extensions don't crash anymore so the fix has solved it.
About the places.sqlite corruption, vacuuming hasn't made difference. I reproduced again it by clicking Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks and suddenly you saw everything disappear. First the personal toolbar contents, then the rest. The newly created places.sqlite doesn't have this problem.

Did anyone else notice that Trunk cold startup is almost as fast as IE8?

I really can't test this anymore as I just put my hard drive on a SSD. Everything loads fast now, it's really amazing. FF loads in a second.

I can't seem to undo close tabs in Linux build (Ubuntu Karmic) starting from 20091105 build.

Tested in safe-mode and clean profile => Ctrl+Alt+T does not bring up recently closed tabs. Session manager's 'reopen closed' is empty as well.
