Had a little moderation mishap trying to merge littlemutt's post in here.

Not sure if it is related, but Steve's (aka chob) link in the 20090514 thread comes up "Information The requested topic does not exist." instead of to hear.

Nope, that's totally related. Thanks. I'll go fix that link.

Hello, I'm new here so forgive me if this is the wrong place to post this...

For some days now I can no longer right click on a text (like comment field on blogs, and right now on this post) to spell check or copy/past... the right click menu does not appear. The spellcheck functions (underline the mistakes) but I'm unable to right click.

I'm on a Mac (Mac OS X 10.5.7).

I already know about that bug, I'm subscribed to it. It doesn't really apply to my case. I'm sitting in #places right now waiting on someone to tell me how to submit my places.sqlite for analysis. :)

Have you tried the following?
Disable any add-ons (extensions & themes) and then restart.
Start up in safe mode.
Create and then use a new profile.

Works for me on 10.5.6. Did you mouse settings get messed up (i.e., can you right-click anything)?

If you use fire gestures, it broke right click for me, but only on my mac. Disable it.

It's FireGestures (1.1.6.2) extension... Unfortunately I just can't live without it =)

I found a compatible version (1.5b2) at http://www.xuldev.org/firegestures/develop.php . Works fine now!

Thanks for your help.

^Sweet! I don't use my mouse much now that I learned how to use the trackpad with two finger swipes and how to tap to click and two finger tap to right click. I experimented with gestures using the trackpad but my fingers aren't built for the correct actions.

Any linux gurus want to tell me why I can no longer connect to the web with a Mozilla build running in the Home Folder of Ubuntu 9.04?
