Yey I can help, you simply have to many tabs. I can get ten tabs before the list comes up. This might be related to screen resolution though.

OK, will try reducing them when I get home, but I was under the impression that the settings in about:config for the aero setup would allow for 20 tabs..

The web page that allows me to control my DVR doesn't work correctly in Minefield although it does in 3.6 and 3.5.

Since a userid and password is needed to get into this how can I reference the URL in a bug report? I could setup another account for the DEVS but would have to delete it real quick. Any thoughts on this?

Can you somehow produce a reduced test case? What company is it and what exactly doesn't work?

That surely seems related to me. You should file a bug.

I just hit this bug with the latest hourly.

Did the taskbar previews work ? If not, then that strongly points to the fact that it only works for the moment with nightly's.

Not sure what this comment in the bug means:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=520801#c3
Looks like something in the build config needs to changed, perhaps that will fix the hourly's also.

there are 3 new aero pref's and set to enabled, 20 and 20

Works fine here. I'm using Windows 7 Professional 64bit Retail from TechNet.

Speaking of 64bit, #469654 [Core:Build Config]-Windows x64 build support [Win] makes me happy. :)

Yeah, I hoped it would be working by now. I should of added the build compilation info too:
--enable-application=browser --enable-update-channel=nightly --enable-update-packaging --enable-jemalloc --enable-tests

Branch compilation settings are:
--enable-application=browser --enable-update-channel=nightly --enable-update-packaging --enable-jemalloc

I also just updated 3.6 using the partial nightly update process but that doesn't work either.

I don't see previews with either the trunk hourly or branch nightly.

Edit: So then I reinstalled a 10/5 trunk hourly and did check for update and it updated the partial nightly to 200910064417 and taskbar previews work as expected and no error on the error console. But if you install another hourly the error comes back and previews don't work again and another error occurs on top of this.

So basically the nightly partial works, the folder/file for taskbar previews work, the hourly doesn't install the file. The branch installs the files, no errors, and doesn't work. Installing an hourly on top of the trunk nightly causes it to not work, even though the files are still there and prefs values = same. I know they updated the patches to change the pref names after the nightly came out.

Is it just me or is the 6 October 2009 build a bit crash happy?

In the span of an hour, I had the following 6 crashes on various sites like Youtube.com and Twitter.com....

[@nsHtml5TreeOpExecutor::ExecuteScript() ] - http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/i ... 091006?p=1

After looking at my extensions, could be related to the latest greasemonkey update that just came out. Not sure though. I just report, I can't decipher much. ;)

After reading the threads almost everyday, it appears that HTML5 being enabled can also cause crashes.

Yesterdays thread ( viewtopic.php?f=23&t=1519865 ) mentioned Bug 494373 – fullscreen - new tab - non fullscreen > address bar broken.
The bug report mentions Version: 3.5 Branch , but the checkins at the end show:
http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/fe44a4b6eee0
http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla- ... 7b6eaef27f
That looks to me like the trunk and Namoroka.

Is this bug the same as I get in Firefox 3.5.3 and current Shiretoko/3.5.4pre builds with these STR:
* Hide the Navigation Toolbar (e.g. via the right-click context menu)
* Open a new tab with Ctrl+T
* Unhide the Navigation Toolbar.
* Click the mouse in the location bar.

This doesn't remove the default grayed text 'Search History' and I can edit and delete that text with backspace.
Pressing Ctrl+L sets the focus properly to the location bar.
This same STR works fine in Minefield and Namoroka nightly builds.

That is correct.

They updated m-c (trunk) 1.9.3 (currently 3.7 Minefield) and 1.9.2 (3.6 Namoroka) - which baked on the trunk to fix future releases, approved to land on the 3.6 branch and needs to be back ported and landed on the old branch.
If you read comment 0.
It was reported in 3.5beta4 and would still need to land on 1.9.1.4 to make it an update to the 3.5 branch when the next release comes out (3.5.4). It shows a status1.9.1 (3.5) wanted, but may not yet have approval or be marked blocker for that.

Yeah, the HTML5 processor in Minefield is pretty much a minefield. Some days it works great when it's enabled, some days it crashes until you disable it. I'd rather just keep it on and find the sites causing the crashes. I'm not doing anything important on the web anyways. :)

Regression: Looks like open popup notification list - to allow edit or about popup blocker text is missing..
Hopefully this one is filed already, I've been kinda lacking time to file bugs.

I filed https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=520929 in regards to my crashes. Crash goes away if I toggle html5.enable to false.

I'm using the latest hourly.. i noticed it on:
http://windowsitpro.com/Articles/Index. ... rss&subj=0
Click Options, and some of the text items in the list no longer have text.
Which I saw on Windows 7 ..
