Build 7 is in the process of being generated. Let's hope things go well so that Lorentz can go gold down the road.

which means an "early June" release of FF 3.6.4 is no longer possible (and no longer reasonable).
oh well.

UPDATE: Build 7 is now available. woo! :)

You know its interesting that I don't see mention of their testing plans to review the list of the OOPP bugs still open on the trunk and maybe if they match, then they aren't ready for 3.6.4 either.

Ahh, just found it mentioned here:
https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/Delive ... 2010-06-09

clegnitto to take another pass through OOPP bugs and report back

We haven't seen any issues with these. Can you give us:

1. Specific URLs that are having issues?
2. System information (Windows version, 32/64 bit, speed etc)
3. If the same issues happen with the OOPP pref off

Thanks!

I just updated to Flash 10.1 and it's extremely buggy, so I don't think any tests I do will be of use.
Tip of the day: If it has "toolbar" in the name, it's crap.

We are highly encouraging users to update to 10.1 (even pushing it on firstrun pages and such). Any issues with 10.1 would be issues we care about, as 10.1 is now final.

We can have QA or other community members check if the same issues exist under 10.0.x if you don't have time to do that, but we need some specifics.

I'll look into it as soon as possible and see if I can reproduce.

Is it me or does Flash 10.1 actually respect Firefox's Private Browsing mode? One of the Flash games I play had a save file that I can use outside Private Browsing, but I can't use the file with Private Browsing.

EDIT - This may be technically off-topic to this thread, but I just realized this matter today so I'm unsure what thread this should go so...

Browser privacy mode

Use the host browser's "private browsing" mode so local data and browsing activity are not persisted locally, providing a consistent private browsing mechanism for SWF and HTML content. This feature is supported in Firefox, Chrome, and Microsoft Internet Explorer.

I just uninstalled it via the OS. I don't trust Adobe's installer/uninstaller software. I've made a separate thread about my problems so as not to hijack this thread any further:

I''m with you on this, I dont trust Adobe's installer either. I have also removed all Adobe stuff from my computer, Adobe Acrobat, Abode Flashplayer, and Adobe AiR. I was also concerned about the constant security issues that Adobe seems to have with it's products, I will never ever install anything by Adobe on my computer again.

Thanks!

Getting back on-topic: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Platform/2010-06-15

Looks like Lorentz is still on target for going gold on Thursday that is if the problem with recent crash stat confusion don't end up blocking at the last minute.
