Not sure if this is the best place for this or not.

Noticed a new alpha of Firebug was released and tried it on on b10. Was anyone else getting the "Firefox keeps eating memory" bug that earlier Firebug alphas had or is it just me?

I find with the latest builds of 4.0b11pre that the memory usage has been tamed quite dramatically. Thanks, devs! :)

I don't use Firebug but I would imagine the fixes would translate?

Anyone know of an extension that replaces the information, the devs removed from add-on manager, with bug 623207? I know MRTTK will eventually, but I doubt that will be released for few weeks yet.

Thanks

Stylish to get date back:

#list-view > #addon-list .date-updated {
display: -moz-box !important;
}

Thanks for the css. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing the date with that code?

Curious. I'll have to try a clean profile. It shouldn't make any difference that I've added this to userchrome, as opposed to stylish, should it?

Actually, it's content and should go to userContent.css.

Thanks makondo, that worked a treat :) I'd forgotten about userContent.css, as it's not a files I've used a great deal.

Thanks again to zegames :)

The most appreciated script by me - GoogleMonkeyR - has stopped working with the latest nighly build of Minefiled (20110211) :(
It's a mystery, yesterdays builds still working.

The best 'masterpiece' for Goog is not to use it at all (as in why would i want to use a site that needs scripts and exts. to deal with nuisances on it?).

The problem is that there is NO alternative website that is as comprehensive as Google or Bing that isn't cluttered up with a junky interface. Scroogle and Ixquick are cute, but I always end up back on Google to do image search, news search, search organized by recency etc.
Tip of the day: If it has "toolbar" in the name, it's crap.
