Looks like it crashed during the v8 test, if not I'm pretty okay with 0ms...
Anyway SS is doing well, JM under x64 should be fast as x86 before long.

lol I'm pretty sure that's higher than a 100% gain.

First , its pre beta 2 (in the site , not the link u gave) , second , pre beta 3 is what gives significant boost (not included , for obvious reasons ). Third , JM and TM have much more to give yet
So don't worry

Would you mind editing your post and changing that to a real link? This isn't Twitter you can post as long a link as you like, it will be automatically truncated.
Tip of the day: If it has "toolbar" in the name, it's crap.

Yeah, it should be, but I'll believe it when I see it.

yeah, me too
I do have confidence tho, computer code isn't far away from rocket science, it is what it is, nightly has improved 15% so far, in just two weeks since the beta2.

Yeah but still if you compare the jaegermonkey builds from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/ ... key-win32/ (without mixed heuristics yet) it's still much slower compared to either Opera or Chrome (especially in the real world JSNES demo)
Funny is if you test with mandelins bar benchmarks in Opera and Chrome how the bars explode out of the screen compared to Firefox Jaegermonkey Builds

Re: Firefox 4.0 TM and JM Performance Thread
People really, really, really need to stop comparing Firefox against Chrome until the final versions are set and done - since at the moment we are looking only at parts of a much larger work. Hold judgements until you actually see the end product please
Again, this isn't the place to discuss how much faster or slower TM and JM are than other browsers but to discuss the progress on their work to increase the performance. When they are done then it'll be a fair comparison.
