Why such a rush?
We have 10 regressions/annoying bugs.
And App Tabs still don't get saved after new session.
Believe or not, personas are the most problem that friends and users from other forum are complaining about.
So what actually we have in beta 2?
Retained layers, XPCOM changes, App Tabs and a maybe 50 ms faster JS that none will feel?
I still don't get why such a rush... Especially when we have 10 regressions...

there is no description. I don't get what is this bug about.
ajnauron wrote:Wow that looks cool. I like the idea, but I don't think that after the statusbar disappears completely it will be completely obvious to users how to bring it back, since the arrow doesn't appear after it's disappeared.
Also, what happens if the window is maximized? Then there is no window edge to speak of, so where will the arrow be?

You already posted that link on page5 and via PM to me.
WonderCsabo wrote:Restoring App Tabs is not working for me. If i simply restart Fx it doesnt restore, if is crash Fx, it restores a blank page instead of App Tab... I tried with fresh profile.
El Pino wrote:The point is that if you have session restore on (Firefox opens up tabs from last session) app tabs are restored as well, if you however start up with your homepage (no session restore), app tabs are not restored. App tabs are supposed to be more persistent than normal tabs, but as of now they are simply tabs with a different look (they can be easily closed, you can change domain, they don't restore, they have an url bar, all stuff that should be different from normal tabs).
Tiago Sá wrote:I think the bug that landed is about retaining the app tab state WHEN the app tabs are restored. Keeping app tabs even when users DON'T save their sessions is not in yet, I think.
If that's what you're thinking...
