What is new?

Post by badboy »

Can the regular users of nightly builds help me know
1) What is new in December nightly builds since 0.4 milestone release?
2) Which December nightly build is most stable?

Great Browser! :)

A few bugfixes here and there.

Right now I'm using 12/5 (latest as I write this) and it seems to work reasonably well.

Be sure to del the Phoenix dir and all its subdirs before upgrading to a nightly. If you have any extensions you like to use, you'll have to reinstall them.

If the nightly doesn't work for you, you can reinstall the "milestone", or you can del your "profile" and create a new one by launching phoenix.exe with the -profilemanager parameter.

(I keep a second Ph icon on my desktop for just that purpose. Takes only seconds to clone and saves lots of typing.)

Load and loads of stuff has been fixed.
Not only are there Phoenix specific fixes, but since Phoenix nightly also pick up the fixes from Mozilla nightly there will be litterally hundreds of bugs fixed.

Build 2002-12-03

There is a slight bug in the builds after that: if you use Hotmail, the Send button does not work in 2002-12-04 and later (I've seen a report in Bugzilla report that it is still not working in 2002-12-06). This is apparently related to other things that use the same function.
