Re: Firefox 4.0 64 Bit
on SunSpider 0.9.1
With build x86 I get 295+ ms...
With build x64 I get 335+ ms
Anyone tried both versions on sunspider? Seems there is a serious regression again.
Gecko/20101122
Just mentioning -> With Opera Alpha 275 ms because with x86 build I'm pretty happy. +20 ms = Nothing

Re: Firefox 4.0 64 Bit
The latest builds are as stable as any I've seen. Thanks, Mozilla, for the continued work on the x64 build.

Yeah, well, unless I'll be able to use LP, I'm not going to use x64. Ever.
Hope dies penultimate. What remains till the end is sarcasm. And I have plenty of it.

German language pack works fine here if the locale is added as a parameter to the firefox link as I answered you here: viewtopic.php?p=9947039#p9947039
I'm writing this with a fully german localized FF4 x64 nightly version.

Thanks for the heads up, evildust!
The links on the "Square" download page have been updated but the text content on the page has not (as you well know )...interesting...
EDIT: The page linked to, above, has now been fully updated.

Re: Firefox 4.0 64 Bit
I've tested Minefield 4.0b10pre 2011-01-12 x86/x64 using SunSpider 0.9.1, V8Bench v6 and Kraken 1.0.
Here are the results.
Each run of every test was done with a clean profile.

Results similar to arewefastyet: 64bit, 32bit.
(Similar in that 64bit is faster on Kraken and slower on the other two.)

Re: Firefox 4.0 64 Bit
I think there is some problem compiling the 64 bit builds at the moment. Until that is fixed they can't create more builds. bug 626480 [Core:General]-"Cannot compile Windows 64-bit since January 12th"

The compile bug was fixed, 64bit builds flow again.
