You gotta look at the various branches hanging off of xabolcs/nightlytt.
https://github.com/xabolcs/nightlytt/tr ... t-pastebin has commits from six hours ago, and pull request 86 is for getting that commit from six hours ago accepted for inclusion into mozilla/nightlytt.

Yeah, I found that by following the "Change list" link in xabolc's post. I guess it's OK if I go on pulling from mozilla?

IMHO it's always safe to being sticked to master branch at mozilla/nightlytt.

I don't always keep my master in sync with mozilla's repo, only when I have spare time to do some commit.

:-) OK, thanks for confirming. git tells me my clone is on branch "master", with clean working directory and no other branch present, so I'm in the green then. ;-)

xabolcs wrote:Dear NTT users!

Some feature commit landed in last days to the master tree, so I packed it up in a downloadable xpi and put to my Github page.
Feel free to try it! :)

Nightly Tester Tools 3.4pre

Packed on: 2012-06-19
Built from: c353aace
Change list (from latest public release: 3.3): v3.3 ... c353aace
Download : nightlytt-3.4pre-201206190052-c353aace.xpi

edit reason: new build

New pre-release, built from mozilla/master:
  • Fixed "aboutNightly component does not implement nsIObserver". Issue #57.
  • Fixed "Update list of contributors in 'about:nightly'". Issue #58.
Download: nightlytt-3.4pre-201209282123-33689844ef85.xpi

But the real new is that I packed an unofficially version motivated by jwir3:
the base is mozilla/master + all the unmerged (but mostly stable) pulls.
The extras are:
  • Bug 726560 - Add support of Panorama group name (FF10+) for titlebar customization. Pull #19.
  • Convert 'Customize Titlebar' dialog's listbox into tree, and make it's columns resizable. Fixes #25. Pull #74.
  • Implement new upload providers for screenshot. Fixes #49. Pull #84.
  • Use pastebin.m.o with FormData where applicable. Fixes #86. Pull #93.
  • Revamp NTT's force-compatiblity feature. Fixes #52. Pull #82.
Download: nightlytt-3.4pre-201209282200-4a4efeb433bf-mozillamaster+unmerged.xpi

I refreshed my quoted comment too - viewtopic.php?p=12068417#p12068417 !

I hate to be a party-spoiler, but due to a change in the FF code, the screenshot is no longer working on NTTR or any other screenshot-related extension.

Please see this thread.
viewtopic.php?f=23&t=2576141

And while I'm on the screenshot subject, though I know it's certainly not NTTR's main function, I'm wondering if it might be possible someday to offer the option to save the entire page and not only the "screen".

Thank you very, very much for your work.

Recent updates on the NTT github master mention a "Customize Titlebar" dialog. Where is that dialog? AFAIK, there is no "Preferences" dialog for Nightly Tester Tools in the add-ons manager, nor can I find any NTT settings other than in about:config. The "Tools → Nightly Tester Tools" submenu includes the following menuitems:
  • Insert Build ID into Textbox (or: Copy Build ID to Clipboard)
  • Insert List of Extensions into Textbox (or: Copy… to Clipboard)
  • Copy about:support to Pastebin
  • ———————————————————————————
  • Open Profile Folder
  • Open Pushlog between last and current build
  • Open Pushlog after current build
  • ———————————————————————————
  • Take Screenshot
  • ———————————————————————————
  • Force Add-on Compatibility
Note: If that dialog is an overlay to Firefox's "Options", it is possible that whoever wrote it forgot to set up something for SeaMonkey's "Preferences" (which maintain the look-and-feel of the Netscape 4.7 Preferences even though, starting with SeaMonkey 2, the underlying engine is the same "Toolkit" as with Firefox and Thunderbird).

(The DOM Inspector extension has a preferences pane under "Advanced".)

Is this what you mean? Could you have overlooked it?

P.S. Is the guy in your avatar Mr. Grander?

The guy in my avatar is me, and I don't have it then: here is the corresponding snapshot (overlaid above yours for comparison) in SeaMonkey for linux-x86_64 (see my user-agent string in the footer):

Notice how the "Customize Titlebar" and "Crash me" menuitems are both missing.

Sorry tonymec the related issue is still open!
There is no Titlebar Customization support offered from NTT under SeaMonkey yet.

Thank You for pointing this!
And what kind of error did the Error Console log?
Does the uploading of screenshot work with Nightly Tester Tools 3.4pre MozillaZine Edition?

Hm, i see. So it's Firefox-only ATM… or perhaps Firefox-and-Thunderbird-only?
