In over 25 years of doing SW development the only way I've seen products ship to plan is either by dropping features or shipping with known bugs. Adobe is a prime example of the latter. The more typical approach is to keep the plan a secret.

The bugs that keep getting added are crashes or regressions so if anything it's best it is those types of bugs that are added and fixed quickly rather than a different bug that takes ages to be fixed and delays beta 8 for weeks.

The http link, redirects to wiki, which does not provide any links... ftp link does work
