Gets rid off of the new browser semi-transparent border that can be seen if you have 'glass' styles (like sidebar), i already have top and bottom in another style but feel free to experiment:
- Code: Select all
#browser
{ margin: 0 -1px !important; }
Fx4* .css tweaksThought i'd start a thread where people can throw their ideas for tweaking the Fx4/Mf temp or not. There's, of course, userstyles.org but some codes are a temp quick fix for yet evolving builds and don't deserve their own 'style'. Welcome to post links to your/other styles here. Thanks!

Moderator's suggestion to start a thread specifically for "styles". viewtopic.php?p=10229837#p10229837 . A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Mine has wandered off and I'm out looking for it.
Personally, i don't give a damn and this thread can be closed as far as i'm concerned. The reason for it was that i see some people throwing links to styles and bits of codes in many diff. build threads which is not just annoying (and usually gets a quick bark to 'take it somewhere else!') but also unproductive because should you need a code, you'll be sifting though diff. threads trying to find where it was. My thought was to have a thread where people can throw their ideas and ask for ideas.

I agree and understand the logic behind your reasons for starting this thread. ![]() ![]() What exactly does your post have to do with Firefox 4 css tweaks? ![]() So, lets get this thread back on topic "userChrome.css tweaks relevant to Firefox 4". Thanks... ![]()
Then why do you keep plastering your styles/codes all over in almost every thread in Builds forum? This thread was supposed to be a place just for that. Notice the title - Fx4 css tweaks. If you don't want to 'tweak' it, don't read the thread. My shots were supposed to show what i was able to do with Mf and if anybody would have questions, i'd try to help. You're welcome to post your shots and your tips. Instead, as usual in this forum, the thread is turning into yet another bickering war of egos. If you don't like the thread, do not post and it will sink out of your site naturally. I'd like a code, insted of drag, to open new tab with double-click on Tab & Menu Bars... Can you give me one please?

I doubt that is achievable with CSS.
Edit: But it is, try Tss' code! ![]() Last edited by WonderCsabo on December 19th, 2010, 1:50 pm, edited 1 time in total.
WonderCsabo I had it once but somehow lost it.
Tss thank you! But... I did a mistake, sorry! I didn't mean on Menu-Bar! My bad! I meant on Tab bar and near the AppMenuButton... What's the name of that bar? Title bar? Dunno! The Menu Bar is disabled. Thanks again! Fx 16.02 -//- Fx 19α x64 -//- Win 8 Pro x64 -//- CPU: i5 2500 -//- GPU: 7950 -//- RAM: 8GB
Here it goes:
Firefox 4 Autohide Add-on bar doesn't work with greasemonkey btw and there should be more room to activate it. You have to position the cursor within a space of 2 pixels to get it to popup. Being able to customize the range like auto-hide status bar let you do with FF3 would be nice.
Thanks for informing me on the Greasemonkey issue, I have updated that styles page listing to reflect that information. Who is onlineUsers browsing this forum: No registered users and 1 guest |
