Firefox beta 8 webgl is not working in win xp
When I visit http://bodybrowser.googlelabs.com/ message pops up stating I need webgl compatible browser. As I understand, beta 8 does support it. I have a dell laptop with Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family and updated the driver to most recent one version 6.14.10.4609 dated 6-6-06 available on dell.support.com. I also created the webgl.prefer_gl;true condition manually in the about:config but still can't get the webgl to work. can anyone help what i need to make it work?

some VGA is blocklisted. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=594874
if your VGA is included in the list, you cannot use it (hardware acceleration).

Your graphics card is likely too old/bad to use Webgl.
The Intel 900 GMA graphics card (what your computer has) is so bad that it can't even run the Aero interface of Windows Vista/7.
That said, making the preference you made (forces the use of OpenGL instead of Direct3D through ANGLE) hurt instead of helped because WebGL requires OpenGL 2.0ES and the intel GMA 900 only supports OpenGL 1.4
Toggle that option back to "false".
