Azure has landed on mozilla-central, is it in today's nightly or it didn't make it in time?

http://www.cave-research.org/

If I save the page and open it locally then it doesn't crash.

I got a crash report on that dick
https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/ ... db82110625

FWIW:
It does not seem to crash on Win XP with browser.chrome.favicons;true on latest nightly.
    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:7.0a1) Gecko/20110625 Firefox/7.0a1 ID:20110625030743

Edit: OR better yet   :
    If I just look up on this page ^ this fixed it;

I'm the webmaster for cave-research.org. Based cor-el's reply to my bug report, I've removed the CRF favicon.ico from the server- feel free to try cave-research.org again to see if you still have the crash issue.

Do you have a bug number or changeset ID for it?

If you are interested in a build with Azure in it, grab an hourly of changeset 48ad4ffc4230 or later.

It's ok, I was just wondering if it made it in time. I'll just wait for tomorrow's nightly then.

You can search the pushlog between yesterday's Nightly changeset ID and today's.

Hm does Azure in the current form bring any obvious advantages already? Or will that require some further optimization?

Although I do remember there being talk of serious performance jumps in many scenarios.

We have a favicon that highlights blue or green when there is encryption. Your argument is invalid and a poor attempt to hide the inconsistency that is removing http from urls. Anyways, just a pet peeve easily solved by changing browser.urlbar.trimURLs in about:config.

Removing ftp and https is confusing, you and I both know it'd be better if they're clearly indicated, but http is just so common that it's really okay if we decide not to mention it.
But like you said, there's always a pref so people not used to the change can turn it off, and that's why we love Firefox, isn't it?

PS. I think the main reason they do this is actually, you know, [parity-chrome]™.

I just don't like the inconsistency that's introduced with the change. Call me OCD, but removing http is not saving that much space, especially when there's so much space left over on the right side of the URL bar anyways. It looks like its just change for the sake of change, like you said [parity-chrome]. I am starting to hate Chrome not because I use it, but because it keeps influencing every other browser with its damned weird inconsistencies.

So Azure is only implemented for Canvas right? It's not drawing the rest of the webpage or browser chrome just yet?
