Mozilla has added Win 64 support as a priority for 2011. https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/Roadma ... s_for_2011

They were most likely waiting for a few enhancements first for x86_64.

Android is becoming a Tier 1, and now that MSVC2010 is being deployed for Fx8(after July 5th for Nightly users) I won't be surprised if 64-Bit gets a bump forward into Tier 1. My concern though is that they might hold out still for MSI Packaging.

Woo-hoo! New x64 hourly! :D

here (July 4th)

Up on nightly, as well! :)

Maybe it's back on track?

Except the nightly is dated 7-02 in "About" while the hourly is dated 7-04? :?

Could be with Firefox 8 (Nov 8th) or 9 (Dec 20th), those would be the last two builds for this year. Ideally, Mozilla has plans for Win64 support for 2011. Of course the merge date to Aurora for Firefox 8 is in six-weeks, so we shall see.

I dunno, kancaras, WFM.

EDIT: never-mind, I was thinking of a different tab enhancement add-on. Sorry.

Yep, just got the auto-update notification while running the latest hourly you pointed to earlier.
