Greets,

Last night I built Phoenix with xft enabled (linux).. I was wondering if there was a way to build a tarball ( so that i can delete all the other stuff on my smallish hard drive )? I remember building a tarball with mozilla was easy...just cd to xpinstall/packager and type make, but this didn't work. How do I do it?

cheers.

Gilles

Proceed nearly like for Mozilla but "make" need some arguments:

Code: Select all
make MOZ_PKG_APPNAME=phoenix MOZILLA_BIN="\$(DIST)/bin/phoenix-bin"

Personally I use bzip2 compression:

Code: Select all
make  MOZ_PKG_FORMAT="BZ2" MOZ_PKG_APPNAME=phoenix MOZILLA_BIN="\$(DIST)/bin/phoenix-bin"
