Our next major driver release will contain one additional desktop TDR related fix. Based on the feedback we have received so far from our customers and crash reports submitted to Microsoft since the release of our R295.73 display driver update, most of the desktop TDR related issues appear to be resolved already. Following the release of our next display driver update, we will consider this issue closed.

New Nvidia 301.24 beta drivers are out, those with Firefox TDR issues should install and see if the new drivers fix it.

I advice you not to install this driver.
It messed up my system: now I can't install any nvidia driver at all: every time I execute the installer it just throws me the error:
"Nvidia installer failed" and nothing happens. I've completely removed everything related to nvidia from "add or remove programs" in windows, so there is nothing related to Nvidia is now listed there, but the installer shows me the error again and again. Restarting PC doesn't help at all.
I did run sfc /scannow and it didn't find any issues.
Luckily the windows updated found a new update for my videocard and it installed it somehow (it couldn't install until I restarted PC, and now it is installed, but I don't see anything related to Nvidia in "add or remove programs").
Crapware is crapware.

I recommend you to read/check nVidia Forum before installing new driver.

I think Nvidia should stop firing its senior driver programmers to cut costs.

If you don't update your drivers, no one can test and see if it fixes anything. If human beings refused change and to continually improve themselves, you might as well be contented with technology from the 1980s.

Hera, stop posting crap, no one gives a crap about your stupid way of thinking.

Hera might often present opinions and views to which some might disagree but mentioning "no one" is disingenuous, at best, and hurtful, at worst, to those of us who like to read Hera's posts.

The "stupid" adjective is entirely uncalled for as well.

Just sayin' ...

I read all points of views and dismiss none in the fashion that occurs here all too often.

read/check the whole forum? what kind of useful info might be there?
I did check "do a clean install" when all this happened.
and now it happens when I try to install the video driver of ANY version.
