Someone, grab an hourly and turn on New Tab page to confirm that the pref does not work please?

Nevermind, I forgot to set the New Tab Page url to about:newtab.

So, is the 'new tab' back? I wasn't positive at the beginning and since I knew I could turn it off, I was happy.

But after I saw it, I really liked it. It seems 'light' and cute.

This is lovely. If I browse to a page and then middle click on a link to open it in a new tab, the original tab can't be closed unless I exit out of the browser completely. New profile, no tab extensions installed, etc. Anyone else seeing this behavior? Started after I updated to the 1/28 Nightly build.

Not seeing this in either x86 or x64 versions of Nightly.
