Omega X,
Just wanted to say thanks for defining the terms. Sometimes I read through the posts and get lost in the acronyms/jargon. Yes, I probably should educate myself more... except I'm just not that interested. :) Your explanation gave enough info to know what's what, without getting lost in the details. Thanks again.

No problem. Some of this stuff can be hard to find as "transparency" doesn't translate to "accessible" with Mozilla.

fx-team is used for UX among other things (session restore patches tend to land there first, I don't know what else). fx-team is also the branch that Australis builds used, but it's less meaningful now.

Edit: The ux project branch hasn't seen any landings since May last year, fwiw. The fx-team integration branch is still in active use. I'm not sure what 'fx' is supposed to stand for. Effects? Firefox? IIRC there is an actual 'Firefox' team now split off from Gecko as a whole to prioritize fixes and improvements to the browser, but that's fairly recent.

Afaik, fx-team now acts like a second inbound, but for front-end code, while m-i is used for back-end. Googling for related mailing list thread confirms: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic ... BBBMbFPHVY
