Supposedly DLBI will help with the maze solver benchmark to a certain degree.

Wow that is a quite large set of patches. It sounds like it might fix a lot of the laggy scrolling on complex sites (rarely run into it but when I do it's quite annoying). I hope they sort out the regressions soon.

It was backed out because it effectively killed scrolling speed. I mean like visually 30x slower killed.
That and rendering bugs.

Where is the "Load 50 tabs at once and try to scroll the first one" test which measures the FPS of scrolling in such a situation?
Firefox would flunk such a test without any doubt.

but clearly Firefox laggs as hell when rendering happens somewhere...
too bad that we must wait for multitasking/multithreading that long...

but try Suspend background tabs created by Wladimir Palant and 99% of hangs will be gone...
