had to reformat cuase i broke some stuff and my linux install was just messy from all the stuff id messed with. now the gtk2 builds work and they are oooohhh so pretty! thanks for the help though guys.

Zipped by using bzip2, the entire source tree can be packed to a bit less than 30 MB. If you'd like to try it, I can put the least (zipped) tree on my Web site so you can download it. (My build script automatically archives the tree by bzip2'ing it every time, so don't worry about me making an extra effort for you.)
