Loss of function in 2002-12-11

Post by ehume »

I can no longer drag an xpi to an open window of Phoenix to install a theme.

This is a way of reducing traffic on theme sites. It worked in 2002-12-10 build. I tested the xpi files on the 0.5 reference build, and they installed fine.

Can't drop it into the window, but you can drop it into the url bar. or do File Open.

But yeah, that's a bug.

Another Bug

Post by ehume »

When you hot-switch a theme and you have more bookmarks than will fit on the bookmark bar, it simply overflows. The double-chrevron >> dropdown menu button for overflow does not appear unless the browser is minimized and restored. Previously, you could simply shift from maximized to the less-than-maximized setting to restore the double-chrevron button.

The reflow for the chevron is a persistent problem. I believe there is a bug open for it.

1211 crashed frequently on my box

Post by audioaficionado »

I couldn't get past two or three clicks into the Overclockers.com forums before 1211 would crash. After a fresh download and reinstall it still crashed. I rolled back to 1210 and all's well for now.
8) Windows: XPproSP2
8) Gentoo & Overclockix Live CD
8) Latest Firefox of course
