Is extension problems fixed since 190405?
Are the problems related to extensions fixed now ?
I want to use this extensions:
Tabbrowser Extensions <- which is the one of the most important
Adblock
Download Manager Tweak
Gmail Notifier
Launchy
Slim Extension List
SmoothWheel
Stop/Reload
Do I get Joy Joy Feelings ?

I got miniT (drag and indicator) to install and work, which didn't work on yesterday's build. I've also got Flashblock, AiO and Show Failed URL installed and working on builds since 22 April. Now to get Undoclosetab to work, and I'm all set.

I got adblock to work with 20050428. I got the dev build from
http://adblock.mozdev.org/dev.html
There are other non-extension regressions in the 29th builds so far so I'm not moving up yet.
It's still Adblock 0.5 d2 nightly 39 but at least the version was changed to be valid -> 0.5.2.039.
Extensions will only fail now if they don't have a valid version or a GUID.
For example adblock now has:

The extensions weren't broken until the changes in the 23rd build. I was using the 22nd build until the 28th.

Extension problems still continue with Linux build
How did you get that to work? In both the 290405 and 300405 Linux builds, I'm now able to perform the "Install" dialog for extensions, but they always are listed as "... will be installed the next time you restart Firefox", no matter how many times I restart it.Xemanth wrote:Hey I tried to this Lin build to 190405 upgrade to 290405 and it went DAMN sweetly!
All my extensions work except Stop/Reload
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050429
What am I missing?
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050430 Firefox/1.0+

You could try putting the folder extensions (without stuff like Extensions.rdf and installed-extensions.txt) into your new profile. On WinXP it works well that way (I need 4 to 5 restarts to get them all to work).

Among other things, the bookmarks toolbar items disappeared, and putting the "How'd I Get Here" button on my bookmarks toolbar FUBARed the toolbar (a million icons appeared there) and the browser stopped responding.

Ah, Danke Schon. It's the bookmarks code, then.
But, no, I don't use TBE. Will stay on 18th Apr or try 22th Apr then.
