It doesn't work when in Private Browsing mode it seems. Something is bugged in Private Browsing with the latest hourly, worked fine with Nightly.

I can confirm. and I've filed.
[*]#812627 [Toolkit:Download Manager]-Save As ... fails in "Private Browsing Mode" [Win]
[*]#812633 [Toolkit:Download Manager]-No UI feedback provided when downloading a file in "Private Browsing Mode" [Win]
Mozilla products are unreliable!!!!

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Stop rapid release without automated test!
Now, Firefox lacks reliability. Storm of regression bugs. Let's switch to Chrome.

I see the flicker with my current nightly profile (in safe mode too) but not with a new profile. :-k
