Both Downsort and Download Statusbar work for me.

Could it be due to some extensions conflict? The progress indicator WFM. Look:

Hm, I tried it both in 1.0.4 and in 1.0+ on an empty profile, but perhaps I didn't yet discover the right option to make it work
You mean the problem lies with the Downbar settings?

That's weird. What version of Downbar do you have? Mine is 0.9.2. Using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050527 Firefox/1.0+ ID:2005052707
