Yeah, but RIP with Deer Park is quite unstable. I ended up uninstalling it.

Works fine and stable for me on

Has anyone managed to bump a version of Titlebar Tweaks to work with nightlies/trunk? I bumped the max version to 1.2 but still can't make it work without major prob's. Bloated status bar, help menu disappears and a couple of other associated minor problems.
Cheers,

There is a trunk version on the first page of this topic: http://www.projects1.com/firefox/exthac ... sions.html
which works fine here.

Extensions incompatible to Deer Park Alpha 1

Post by CaptainKopter »

Hi there,

here are some extensions I found to be incompatible to Deer Park Alpha 1.

User Agent:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050618 Firefox/1.0+ (stipe)

Tap Mix Plus 0.2.2 pass3 and older
Toolbar Enhancements 0.16.2
Feed Your Reader 0.8.1
Statusbar_Clock_1.6.4_bump
Open_Profile_Folder_1.1
EMbuttons_1.1.3

Does anybody knows sth. about updated versions?

CaptainKopter, look for TabMix on the first page of this thread.
For Toolbar nhancements, open the extension with a zip program like 7-zip, and change in the install.rdf:
<id>tbx</id> to <id>tbx@clav.mozdev.org</id>
and
<maxVersion>1.0</maxVersion> to <maxVersion>1.1</maxVersion>

I tried that Ria and no joy. Even with a brand new profile with no other extensions it just bloats my status bar out of proportion and the help menu disappears. It's not the end of the world but it's really handy when you've quite a few profiles. Thanks anyway.

Version 1.6.0 is stated in my EM. The previous version did not work here with the symptoms you described, but there were also working copies amongst them. :)
You could also try this, but you need to replace browser.dtd (or the entire en-US.jar) during the installation of every new build:

Install 7-zip and open en-US.jar: (path: firefox\chrome\en-US.jar\locale\browser\browser.dtd)

In browser.dtd find:

Code: Select all

<!ENTITY mainWindow.title "&brandFullName;">

and change it to:

Code: Select all

<!ENTITY mainWindow.title "">

In any case en-US.jar is the file you need to tweak.

Did anyone was able to use bookmark synchronizer with deer park ?

I have 1.0.1 and had edited the install.rdf to upgrade the max version, but all the buttons are non-functioning ( import, export, upload, download )...

TIA
