What's the load on your server from hosting these hacked extensions like?

I think you can upload them to http://www.extensionsmirror.nl/. They host modified/hacked/repackaged extensions.

That's a good idea!!! I really don't know how much traffic I can have at all.

the autocopy for trunk has a weird bug, while typing in textboxes it would bring up the searchbar when hitting the ' or / key, disabling the autocopy fixes it.

I have just updated the extension listing, adding about 10 extensions that sharebird has modified including the popular BBCode, Chromedit and Flasgot. Thanks to all those who have provided the modified extensions, hosting them is the easy part!

Zoomy is an easy one. Download and install 7-zip. Then rightclick on the downloaded .xpi, choose Open Archive, doubleclick on install.rdf and open it in a texteditor, then find this line:

Code: Select all

<r:Description about="urn:mozilla:install-manifest">
    <id>zoomy</id>

and replace it by:

Code: Select all

<r:Description about="urn:mozilla:install-manifest">
    <id>{2dbc4a33-ca62-4320-976c-7bcad3465322}</id>

Yea it works, but it spoils my profile every time I install it. Shut Firefox down, restart, blank page, no text in address bar , bookmarks gone etc... I can go to manage bookmarks, click a link in there and the bookmarks reappear but do not work. Toolbar buttons don't work either.

<a href="http://www.tom-cat.com/mozilla/firefox/extensions.html">Findbar Basics</a> was updated with a "compliant" GUID.
Still passionate for Mozilla themes and extensions, just not actively developing them for public release anymore.
