Maybe a difference in behavior from XP to Win7 and above with regard to the latest Win32 Nightly?

Does anyone know how to disable that new garbage downloads manager? They've now enabled that browser hanging crap by default.

I had java 7u9 i think and i got the java icon in the systray saying it has an update. After update one of the 2 entries for java in the plugins section disappeared( i restarted nightly several times) and i couldn't run java in any website.I had to completely uninstall java and install it fresh to make the 2 entries in plugins to show up and java to work in nightly. This was the first time i had to do this after a java update.

Changing browser.download.useToolkitUI to true in about:config should do the trick.

Odd ... looks like latest Win32 Nightly is currently blocking the plug-in.

that warning is from java itself not from firefox

with the latest version of java all java apps are asked to be confirmed before they can be ran

this can be changed in the java control panal

Could you share the details of the two plugins, please?

Here I just see one:
Code: Select all
Java Deployment Toolkit 7.0.90.5

    File: npdeployJava1.dll
    Version: 10.9.2.5
NPRuntime Script Plug-in Library for Java(TM) Deploy

It's like they want people to test it or something.

Exactly. That's what Nightly is for.
