That was on the trunk, not the branch, if I remember correctly

I might have missed something but is Java support broken in this build?
No crashes but the plugin never loads up in windows xp, using Java 1.4.1_3

Does wikipedia.org still works smoothly for everyone else?

Win XP SP1
Clean install & new profile
No extensions

I had no problems also on WIN XP SP1 with this build:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20030925 Firebird/0.7

However, I notce that in the site there is a preferences page with all kinds of choices that affect page rendering. I susggest you visit with IE and change all those back to the defaults and then go back to firebird and change things back the way you had them one at a time so we can figure out which one causes this.

am using the 20030929 gtk2+xft nightly from mozilla.org, and it's working great so far. the previous nightly i pulled kept crashing at certain junctures; it appears to be fixed in this build. also, the load speed is noticeably faster. great job, guys, keep it up :)

It would be nice to have the Flash plugin shipped with the 0.7 release.

No, it wouldn't.
For starters: I don't think Mozilla may package Flash with their products.
Second: Not everybody WANTS Flash. 90% of the users already have Flash. Why download it when you already have it.

And final: Why add the bloat!? Flash is an optional plugin!

I tried a 0.7RC and it does not detected my Flash plugin from Mozilla 1.4. Don't know why.
Also, the Flash plugin is like a standard right now. Every mayor site use it.

Throbber in 0.7 points to texturizer.net instead of mozilla.org. It would be better to point to www.mozilla.org like all other FB releases.
Sorry for not posting here, my mistake. Here is the post:

All-in-one gestures

Post by loauc »

I'm having trouble with text boxes and the All-in-one gestures extension. When I enabled it I couldn't type on text boxes inside pages. Address location and Find box worked fine but not on html pages.

This happened the first time I tried to switch the trigger button from right to left, after that I think I can switch left and right without any problem. So this is a one-time annoyance.

Can anyone test it?

This is a fair point, if it is included, it should certinally be optional or downloaded, if a search for the plugin failed. Though, as lots of users have trouble installing plugins it would be good at least to have the option there IMHO.

Just go to the plugins page and you have all the info and links you need about many plugins and different operating systems.
