I've also filed a report with Google's Phishing Protection via Menu > Help > Report Web Forgery. If they heed the report, the domain will be added to their safebrowsing list which Firefox (and other browsers) use.

no, read my another posting.
falcon25 wrote:right, there are may suspicious html's in this code, thanks for your effort. but fact is: the original downlad statusbar does not supported the new download API, no longer works and the Author not responds, so i'm still waiting for a another solution.

Hi all - it sucks to see so many people pile on incorrectly, when we worked hard on this addon. There is nothing nefarious about Download Nubs. We proactively submitted the unobfuscated source code to the AMO review team over 8 hours ago.
- We didn't copy Download Statusbar's source code. The firefox download backend was completely re-written and it required a completely new addon. Design-wise they are superficially similar, yes, but everything the addon is doing has been written from scratch.
- Yes we obfuscated the source code. We don't want to hand the Download Statusbar dev our hard work on a platter. For competitive reasons, we decided to obfuscate the code. But we followed the AMO policy's and proactively submitted the to the AMO admin team. We were notified that Download Nubs has been removed from AMO until they finish that code review. I don't know how long it will take. It was not removed because it was found to be doing anything bad.
There are no porn sites and Russian "game" sites in the code, there is no JS injection into HTML. The link to DDecode that someone posted is not Download Nubs. I don't know where that code came from, but it is not in the addon that we released.
Ok folks. This is a temporary lock. It will last for about ten minutes because I want everyone to read this. Everyone will remain polite. I have sent PMs to a number of people in the thread and they know my problems with some of the issues here.
Like I said. This will be reopened in about 10 minutes.
