Drag Link to New Tab / New Window
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=179845
If I drag a link to the tab-bar it creates 2 tabs.. Or do I not understand how this is supposed to work.
Dragging the link to the button works...
If I use Ctrl+T to open a new tab, and drag the link its OK.
Perhaps another issue with TabMix...
disabled TabMix and still creates 2 tabs when link is dragged to tab-bar.

Is this JS/HTML/CSS slideshow slow on the recent nightlies?
http://www.couloir.org/js_slideshow/
On the "other" browser, its fast and smooth.

With Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050607 Firefox/1.0+ ID:2005060719: I've had the page open for about 5 minutes and it's still loading on a 1.5Mbps connection; loads in seconds in IE.
EDIT - Does anyone know why Pacifica takes around 25 minutes to build the trunk and Prometheus only takes around 5 minutes and Atlantia takes around 7 minutes?

Pacifica - Tinderbox build machine (Win32).
Deer Park - Code name for Firefox 1.1 (Alpha release is intended for developers / testers only).
Prometheus - Tinderbox build machine (Linux).
Thanks, Cusser!

I'd just like to know what other people suspect as well. Before I file a new description as in two people's opinion this isn't marquee related.
At the moment I have my hands full with the EM code and don't have the time to look into this properly.
Duly noted. I hadn't forgotten your predicament. I just thought since I saw you reply here every now and then about a vastness of topics, latest one being SpellBound. I thought you'd be one of the top men to ask for their evaluation on amongst Peter, RyanVM, 0live and many oldtimers that do not come to mind at this moment. But they are good!
Purely for the sake of humor and part curiosity, where's GOL? Haven't seen her around for ages.

What sites without marquee do you see the widening bug?
This site [forum] for example, vertigo. Actually, this VERY thread. And many others (sites) I can't recall at this moment. Practically every forum I visit has this behavior as well. It is my belief FF isn't being "code friendly" to something it should be in the HTML code that probably was regressed by one bug fix or another. Maybe the table code. Anybody mind cross-checking all those bug fixes dealing with how FF reads/renders web site code in the past 6 months? I have a Jan. 15th build and it's still affected. So it has to precede that and that's a good place as any to start looking. Anybody have a older sighting date than Jan 15th?
I'm not going to let this bug fall through the gaps, so to speak. I'm going to bring it up until we can find its stem. Marquee doesn't appear to be the culprit.

Just curious - hope someone can answer this. I've been using Deer Park nightlies for a while and have noticed the following oddity:
a) Deer Park is set as default browser.
b) After this, the default icon in WinXP for the several file formats are not as it should be - i.e. the predefined Deer Park icon in the executable. They are: HTA, HTM, HTML, SHTML, XHT, XHTML.
c) The default icon for the protocols and the .URL (i.e. shortcut) is correct.
Attempting to change the icon back to the Deer Park default does not work - in fact Windows thinks its using the correct icon. Rebuild icon cache does not work. Just for info, the icon actually displayed is the default application (i.e. executable) icon in Windows.
Current Build used ->

Ria, your method didn't work for me. However, curious as I was, I did a search for registry entries marked with "FirefoxHTML"
Amongst them was an entry in the key below.
Apparently, it stored the icons for HTML related file types. Under "Old Icons", I found a key that pointed to the Mozilla Firefox folder - i.e. the non beta folder that I have long uninstalled and deleted. After changing that particular entry to point towards the Deer Park folder, repairing of the icon cache reloaded the correct icon for the filetypes.
Guess its more of an OS related bug.

All that counts is if the behaviour is handy for most people.
