Windows is Mozilla's red headed step child. Despite all the attention it has elsewhere, they can't be bothered being a parent.speciesx wrote:itisomegakai wrote:

Only 5,1% are MacOS users and 0,1% are Linux users.

But not this one, as it's data from telemetry.Timvde wrote:And 76.3% of statistics are made up on the spotVirtual_ManPL wrote:It's just very sad, because 94,8% of users are using Windows platform...

I'm on Linux, and for me, it's rather slow, too.
its not supposed to be " Bugless " right now which is why its a Nightly Tech Preview. its gonna have its problems, just like firefox did when it was bornRomani wrote:For me its dont seems too fast. On other side its extremely buggy so far.
my guess it wont be for some time, i wouldnt expect an Alpha this year anyway.mayankleoboy1 wrote:Servo is not even alpha quality yet
Cannot agree on that. despite Mozilla being open source Windows as platform is way more important for them then Linux for example. Even in their release engeneering they call linux "tier 2" with Windows "tier 1". Another examples - they still have hardware acceleration compositor disabled by default. OMTC was enabled for Linux way later then on Windows and so on. There is a lot other examples of various features available only for Windows. maybe MacOS, but not Linux.Omega X wrote: Windows is Mozilla's red headed step child. 1) No, its should not be.mightyglydd wrote:hello!Romani wrote:Windows as platform is way more important for them then Linux for example.
Good, it should be, could you please provide a link to the Windows download, I'd like to give it a try.
Thanks!
That's disappointing Illogical, why on earth not ?Romani wrote: They not yet build Servo for Windows.
1) They have some problems with compiling Rust (which on Servo based) in latest version of Rust compiler on Windows considering recent Bugzilla bugs. They dont have such problem with linux rust compiler. Its solvable, just need little time.mightyglydd wrote:That's disappointing Illogical, why on earth not ?Romani wrote: They not yet build Servo for Windows.
