In older versions of Fx (e.g. ESR 24), when the bookmarks toolbar became too wide (horizontally) because there were too many bookmarks on it, a symbol (I think it was ">>") appeared, and when I clícked it, the extra bookmarks appeared in a dropdown menu at the right of the screen.
With Fx 37 (and other Australis versions?) this doesn't happen. Any extra bookmarks just disappear, unless I use the "Theme Font & Size Changer" extension to reduce the UI font size. Of course this is only practical down to a certain size.
Is there any way to get the bookmarks toolbar to function the way it used to?
Thanks.

Re: Beta - problem with bookmarks toolbar width
I just created a new folder on my bookmarks toolbar, and the overflow >> appeared just fine, as did the folder when I click it..
Deleted that folder and moved 2 bookmarks from one folder to the bookmarks toolbar, and the overflow >> appeared just fine, as did the bookmarks when I click it.
Does the same problem occur in safe mode?

Sounds like you have a buggy theme to me.
Tip of the day: If it has "toolbar" in the name, it's crap.

Thanks. No it doesn't.WLS wrote:... Does the same problem occur in safe mode?
Thanks. I just tried it with the default theme, and it was the same.JoeG wrote:patrickjdempsey wrote:Sounds like you have a buggy theme to me.
OK, I've just discovered what the problem is: I have the Classic Theme Restorer extension set to "text only". When I change it to "icons and text", the overflow arrows reappear. I'll have to contact Aris.
Thanks for the help so far.
