First look is rather good, but I have found one strangel anomoly: Using even the very latest Tabrowser Extensions, posted sometime Wednesday on the author's home page, using this build, when I click on link and tell it to either open in a new tab or a new active tab, that new tab is always to the left of my current, active tab.
That is true no matter what setting I apply in TBE; I normally have TBE set to open each new tab as far to the right of the tab bar as possible.
This behavior is not exhibited by the release version of 0.7, but is with your opitimized one.

versiontracker
versiontracker doesn't load properly. In the upper left corner, under the logo there should be a field to select the OS, but I don't see anything. They just changed the layout within the past day I think, so I don't know if it's the build or the site... or me!

hi all
i've never downloaded an optimised version
are they really faster than the regular one?
if so, does that mean that it starts up faster, cos
it takes a while to start up for me, and i use a p4 2.4
< 0.6.1, haven't tried 0.7 on my home pc yet, but it seems to
be about the same here at work
probably two to three times longer than ie6 to startup
obviously loads pages faster though
thanks

All of the gecko based browsers will take longer to start up than IE, because they must decompress .jar files to get going. As Firebird is not an entire suite, less .jar files need to be opened than Mozilla Suite so you should find that it opens somewhat faster than Mozilla.
