In the previous thread "The Official Firefox 39 RC1 builds are out" points to build1 which doesn't exist, it should be build3.

3:43:18 PM - WaltS48: Can anyone tell me if Firefox 39.0RC1 is out, and why my 39.0b7 is not updating using Help > About Firefox if it is out.
4:02:56 PM - Sylvestre: WaltS48, it is not
4:03:01 PM - Sylvestre: we have some last minute issues
4:04:35 PM - WaltS48: Thanks Sylvestre!

If it isn't released for an update from b7, should it be used at all?

Sorry, I thought I had changed it to build3, but only did it on this topic (on the previous beta link). That thread is locked now, can't change it. #-o

@WLS - They put that "build3" there yesterday. So there was at least build1 and build2 that went wrong, and then build 3 was/is ok. But apparently that won't be the final version. Security changes landed today on the release channel.

@Josa - Yes build3 was RC1, which as Sylvestre indicated on IRC was not offered as an update to 39.0b7.

AIUI from following the discussion on IRC, Build 4 is RC2, and my 39.0b7 still hasn't updated.

If users are that impatient, then go ahead and use the candidates from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/ ... es/build4/

@-Arch- AFAIK Firefox 39.0 is still on schedule to be released next Tuesday.

The release of the release candidate is the only thing behind schedule, and as we have frequently seen, all these beta releases and testing doesn't seem to help, because a chem spill release is usually close behind the official release.

Do others see the couple odd pixels on the top right of the caret when composing a "tweet"? Please see http://screencast.com/t/vajjlAAtvQDR

Known bug?

I can see the caret problem.
I am not sure this is bug or not, but this was caused by landing of [*]#1164693 [Core:Layout: Text]-The directional caret should point in the opposite direction of what backspace will do [Uns].

Don't think I got a confirmation on this one. In safe-mode the throbber on the tab is always spinning. Started a few days ago.

Aye or Nay?
