Firefox 39.0RC3a is now avaliable
Well, Release Management is calling it RC3, so they confused me when they said RC1 wasn't released.
Anyway, the release of Firefox 39.0 is delayed due to [1151506 – startup crash in xptiInterfaceEntry::GetConstantCount with randomly hex-code named DLL](https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1151506)
Which was backed out, requiring the release of this RC to verify Firefox isn't crashing anymore, or something.
Ryan VanderMeulen - Backed out changeset 0b0822cabbb9 (bug 1151506) because it didn't fix the crashes it was intended to. a=lizzard

When are x64 builds going to be introduced into RC versions and Final builds?
At present I never bother with RC or Final as I always use the beta x64 builds and have no issues whatsoever with them, or am I just lucky

There is not going to be Win64 for Fx 39.0 Release. There were Win64 builds for Firefox 37.0b# and 38.0b# Beta builds before also.
There is no targeted version for Win64 Release at moment.
There have been 64-bit Firefox Releases for Mac OS X (combined 32/64) and Linux ever since Firefox 4.0 both because it was easier and needed.
We have a couple threads about the Win64 builds. I say Win64 to be more specific vs 64-bit/x64
Mozilla having second thoughts about releasing 64 bit builds
Yes! 64-bit Firefox for Windows on its way

I wish at least they'd push RC-s to the beta channel. It didn't update since the 18th.

Re: Firefox 39.0RC3a is now avaliable
They do push RC's to the beta channel. How else would my b7 update to rc1 (or whatever it was).
I was reading on IRC that users that install a RC from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/ are on the release channel. Maybe they don't update.
If you used Help > About Firefox in b7 you should have gotten a release candidate, and they keep updating until the next b1 is released.
I'm using rc3 and my Firefox indicates that I am currently on the beta update channel.

Did not want to get people's hope up as to why I did not state this as it is speculation.

I likewise have been using win64 builds all year, and I have had no problems. I am using the win64 builds because I am a power user, with a large number of windows and tabs reopened automatically every time I launch it. I really don't understand the delay for building release Win64 versions, as I would rate the betas (and even the 37 Dev editions that I started with) as rock-solid.
As long as I am stuck on beta, though, I too would like to at least get the RC releases, since they are part of the beta channel.

Seems most of us are use to the speculation as this has been on and off again for quite some time. I suppose one day Mozilla will just be like 'Surprise, we have Win64 Release!"...okay may be not.

Knowing Mozilla I doubt if it will be a surprise. It will be a long and hard birth .

I didn't think they'd differentiate.
