The site likely has a bad/old Security Certificate... Run the URL of the website on this tester here > https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/

Never seen that but it may be A/V or security software overlaying the native Firefox warning with the stopsigns.

I see same, a line of stop-signs with 'unable to connect...' overlayed on the stop-signs. I would guess its Mozilla way to letting you know its not safe/secure anymore.

Chrome displays a page that the states: SSL server probably obsolete. with a broken folder Icon.

IE11 still displays the page normally...

I'm well aware of the shortcomings of SSLv3, but the way those signs look on Nighlty quack like a bug IMHO.

I dunno if anyone has seen the issue of an update in Nightly wherein there is, indeed, an update but it won't "take."
I had the issue and went to the FTP site (which I won't link here as it's frowned upon) and did an upgrade reinstall.
Happy days again in Nightly world, thankfully.
I read this on another related thread (regarding the issue) very recently but I'm too tired to find it now ... sorry, because I would like to give props to the one who pointed me in the right direction.
