Why are you still using that? It's been abandoned for a long time. (The last time it had regular updates was in 2010) I stopped using it when it got mostly broken, which was years ago. Have you tried the built in click-to-play feature? (With https://addons.mozilla.org/hu/firefox/a ... t/?src=api if you want it to be better)

I will update Tabmix code not to use that file and upload a new version

Nightly's content process has been leaking memory like crazy for a while, most of it is heap-unclassified:

2,254.93 MB (100.0%) -- explicit
├──1,592.93 MB (70.64%) ── heap-unclassified
├────468.66 MB (20.78%) ++ window-objects
├────102.07 MB (04.53%) ++ js-non-window
├─────50.97 MB (02.26%) ++ (16 tiny)
└─────40.30 MB (01.79%) ++ images

Does anyone know if there's a bug for it?

The sound indicator is awesome, but it really looks bad on app tabs :(

Odd, I know I installed it after 2010 (since I only had this computer since 2012). I went ahead and removed it anyway as was causing issues with Photobucket too.

ETA: The version I have was last updated in December 2014.

Had to find a profile that still had it installed, but Yes it does along with Silverlight too. Here are the options for version 1.5.18.1 released December 2014.

And I am sure there are others related to Video leftovers in memory....

Thanks. I don't understand the solution for this bug, doesn't Firefox bundle FFMPEG for its video playback? I'm using the Windows build, FWIW.

I also found https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1189194

the tab speaker feature doesnt work with Flash. I click the icon to mute the sound, but it's still audible.

Hmmm..neat. That's better than Chrome which won't let you silence a noisy tab.

not true, Chrome introduced this feature a few months ago. you have to enable it from the chrome:flags page.
ofc, it still gets handicapped by Chrome's horrendous UI, if you're a heavy tab user..
