Firefox 41 beta hangs when visiting the site

But Safe Mode disables Hardware Acceleration, so when you tried that earlier, you would have expected to it have been fixed then too?

Sorry for the immature conclusion that I made in the former post.

Still Firefox 41 Beta 4 hangs sometimes when trying to open some of the urls included in the http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/, at least when hardware acceleration is on.

Edit: This time, it hangs even the hardware acceleration is off.

Works fine here Fx41b4 x64, Flash x64 18.0.0.209, HwA on, Win10 x64, nVidia, uBlock Origins. Maybe ATI + Flash issue?

My machine is with ff41b4 x64, flash x64 18.0.0.232, hwa on, win10 x64, nVidia 880M, uBlock.

Have you tried to refresh that page? I can also open that url without problem, not always when trying to reload it though.

Refreshed a bunch of times and worked, maybe Audio drivers, try updating to latest one, WU drivers are junk sometimes, also my geforce is 355.60, the previous geforce driver was glitch city, this one is good.

I can't reproduce the hang on OP's site, but I do encounter lots of hangs on various sites SOMETIMES after updating 41. I can reproduce it on safe-mode with two computers. (by reproducing, I mean I will encounter hanging problem SOMETIMES with safe-mode, these sites won't always hang).

I believe it's a bug related to Fx 41.

I believe it's a bug related to Fx 41.

That description could fit any browser at any time "sometimes they hang"

A hang bug that first appeared in 41 was just fixed in beta.

It looks like the fix went into beta6.

The hang still there with Beta7.

It might related to the fact that I am using an extra usb Digital/Analog Converter as default audio device.

There's no hang at all with 40.x series. And, I am not sure if the hang only happened with 64-bit version, haven't tested 32-bit yet.

Hang sometimes for me too, ONLY AFTER 41beta1. 41beta1 NEVER hangs. 41.2 onwards randomly hangs on some sites with flash in them. I've even tried the beta 19 of flash. but the ONLY way to stop the hang is using 41Beta1 or before.

Same to me too. 41 Beta1 and before doesn't have this issue.

Just to add, this issue is worse on the 64bit version than the 32bit version. Crashes so much on 64bit, bit only occasionaly on the 32bit version.

I even went "ask" for flash. It helps a lot, but I still got hangs frequently.
