Please use download.mozilla.org to retrieve the latest Firefox ESR.
For example, if you wish to download the US English installer for Windows (32bit)
the url isCode: Select all
https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-esr-latest&os=win&lang=en-US
- Firefox ESR version 38.5.0 is showing that 38.5.1esr is the latest version: http://i.imgur.com/zR7ECTY.png
- ... Yet, the latest available (yes, ofc., on their ftp) is 38.5.2esr: http://i.imgur.com/eRfGAWY.png
And, how can we contact them - anybody -maybe- know the (ftp) administrator email address, pls?? (I mean, what could it be; best guess??)
P.S.
The problem had been w/the 64bit, if anybody else caught it @https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/rel ... README.txt
x64 was -previously- missing!..:)Please use download.mozilla.org to retrieve the latest Firefox release.
For example, if you wish to download the US English installer for Windows (32bit)
the url isThis could be pasted into the location bar of a browser, or used with curl or wget, e.g.Code: Select all
https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-latest&os=win&lang=en-US
wget -O FirefoxSetup.exe "https://download.mozilla.org/?product=f ... lang=en-US"
For other operating systems replace 'os=win' with:
Windows 64bit os=win64
Edit: & just to be clear, even though it's so far off-topic - it's NOT the 64bit ESR Firefox; that does not exist!..
Code: Select all
https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-esr-latest&os=win64&lang=en-US
^^ That's perfectly fine.404 page not found
