I have Flash set to "Ask to activate", and the other plug-ins are set to "Never activate".

btw... how do you get the videos on msn.com to use flash instead of html5
Set Flash to always activate and disable any/all other plugins
Guessing MS knows this old setup will at least play Flash

I started with a new profile and rebuilt it. Videos play the way they should now. Could have been a pref.

Used to be brown/yellow/tan but now it's looking grey. Strange. Maybe I've just lost my marbles. Or maybe it has to do something with "version 2016.03.08" in the corner :biggrin:

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1253395 is fixed now but you need to go into about:config and reset media.hardware-video-decoding.failed before H.264 hardware decoding works again.
