Does anyone know WTF is AMO doing?
I got an update like this for the icon changer addon: "Change Profile's Window Icons 1.5.2.1-signed.1-signed". Now the addon is signed twice??
The update also broke all the icons I set... Which is funny, since the extension wasn't actually updated since 2014...
So many thanks to mozilla for this.

Edit:
On second look a bunch of other addons got updates like this. I can't decide what to call this: pathetic or ridiculous...
eg:
  • View Source Choice 1.0.1.1-signed.1-let-fixed
  • Bugzilla Tweaks 1.12.1.1.1-signed.1-signed.1-signed
They were whining that the version number doesn't fit, so now that they banished it to a tooltip they decided to spam the hell out of it...

@ avada - seems like you missed a few threads about this, like:
http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... &t=3002333
http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... &t=3002357

also this email was sent to you if you're addon developer
Your add-on, has been automatically signed.

We recently discovered a problem with the expiration date of add-on signatures.
As a result, for the next few weeks Firefox will not be able to recognize the
signatures of some add-ons. We are contacting you because your add-on,
is affected.

To address this problem, we're signing the affected add-ons again and letting
you know in case you need to deploy this update to your users. The details of
this issue can be found here:

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1267318

This signing process involved re-packaging add-on files and adding the string
'.1-signed' to their version numbers. The current review status of your add-on
will remain the same. Alternatively, you can upload a new version and have it
signed through the usual means.

If you have any questions or need support, please reply to this email or
join #addons on irc.mozilla.org and we'll do our best to help.

You are receiving this email because you have an add-on
on https://addons.mozilla.org

FYI - Nightly is out
