Didn't work. Still around. Even after re-setting (up) CTR and several other "GUI invasive" extensions.

Or could it possibly a glitch in the currently actived theme instead?

Uising NASA Night Launch; one of the best dark themes ... by (and so) far.

Update: Forgot to add the screenshot (see above). No full version anymore, me idiot accidently overwrote the original while converting to png-8 m(

BTW: The original thread author didnt mention CTR nor a different theme, so I guess the issue is still "hot".
Aside of that, it does also appear with disabled CTR + Old Location Bar. Randomly.

Current temporary fix: As soon as the misplaced dropdown appears, click on another "input", like the one for search, enter something (or just delete its current content), then go back to the address bar. et voilá - the dropdown is back where it belongs ;)

So basically, this might be some internal glitch when using more than one "input bar", ie. both an address AND a search bar.
