Is the high CPU usage cross-platform or is it just affecting Linux? It's locking up my whole system and it's been present for a few days now.

Is it immediate or does it happen over time? If its over time then it might just be the memory leak issue that's been affecting Nightly for almost a week.

I think my CPU usage on Win10 has gone signifikantly up, too, with Aurora 49. But I didn't measure it.

Not seeing any excess CPU usage myself. RAM may be up a bit.

TMP is the cause for it & the recent problems of memory leak/ghost windows

Can someone notify the developer?

I don't use TMP. It seems to get worse as time goes on, but CPU is definitely higher than memory.

Welcome to life on the bleeding edge.

FYI-Folks who have not yet done so should go through the proper troubleshooting methodology (which, IIRC, is available in the knowledge base) to both isolate the build where the issue first starts and determine what, if any, preferences and/or add-ons contribute or trigger the issue.
