Re: Changes in Firefox 57
^^ So some time in the future none of those are going show up announced in the ever swelling Firefox Browser/Features Folder ?
History says otherwise.

Re: Changes in Firefox 57
Looking at what that extension does, I would say that an ordinary content web extension could already be made to do that.mikezilla2 wrote:https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... to/?src=ss

Re: Changes in Firefox 57
I think people using Firefox will have to accept that even their content hitting extensions that are prime for conversion (in the main, the chrome(UI) ones will not exist) will likely be different in the future.Brummelchen wrote:but not in that dialog, only as a download manager extension with own dialogs/ui - some kind of sorting downloads
In other words, 'conversion' does not equal identical, but roughly doing fairly similar to what it did before.

Re: Changes in Firefox 57
Tree Style Tab WebExtension has big problems with session restore: order of tabs and tree structure are messed up after restoring saved session. More info here:

This bloat that you are so concerned about? Have you actually looked before you cried? I have four 'Firefox' extension and they are about 60KB. Really? Bloat?
How much bloat do your many extensions add?

Re: Changes in Firefox 57
WTFrak are you babbling on about "bloat "(x 3) for ?
I don't give a damn about the size of the files.
As usual you completely miss the point: it's the NUMBER of 'extensions' or whatever the **** they are.
I'm now up to eleven with 56, ten with 57.
What's to prevent them displaying paid links first, how would one know if the 'recommended' BMW dealer wasn't a client?

I tried the browser a while back, seemed like the results were very German centric.Brummelchen wrote:cliqz

Well then I would delete them or remove them!!! Instead of standing around with my thumb in my ... and complaining. Do something about it.
BTW. Just how does the number of these few extensions compare to the number of extensions that you installed?
Means? Just how many 'bouncing clowns' do you need on your screen?
