@Frank Lion I tried it, doesn't work, unfortunately. It looks like Session Manager can no longer access the file system - all saved session are gone. List of closed tabs still works, though.

Also, poor man's Tab Mix Plus: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/foxytab/
Toolbar API, where are you? :-"
Sorry for my poor English.

OK, we'll start slow and build up to that one. Try these - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Tvf3bWfdWk

^^ You mean "I have informed you thusly".
@You in corporate meetings at 6 on a Sunday morning? Work weekends ?
Gone was the blazing-orange fox snuggling a blue globe, the image that’s represented Mozilla’s scrappy browser since 2003. Instead, Firefox Senior Vice President Mark Mayo opened the event with a drawing of a fox in menacing mecha armor, named Mark 57 — the same way ever-improving Iron Man suits are named.

So the "trick" to use Legacy Extensions in Web-Extension Firefox 57 and on is to learn magic tricks?

No meetings and it was not 6 at the time. I don't think it was,

I was just watching some surprised users with dead extensions posting.

You really do need to think of swinging onto 52 ESR now, instead of tormenting yourself on 57.

Even that is not a longterm solution, but at least will give you a breather. If anyone does want that as their longterm solution then they should be checking out OS sandbox programs and running Firefox within that.

So this article is incorrect?

"You cannot downgrade Firefox 55 profiles"

Yeah, frankly I knew it would happen one day of course. ESR or Waterfox-like builds will buy me some time. But the end is near I guess :/

Is there a "what custom build to use when ff57 hits" thread yet?

I'm thinking if I'm gonna stay at v56, might as well get some advantage out of it.
